Tuesday 3rd March 2020 is World Wildlife Day, and this year's theme is "Sustaining Life on Earth". This is such a great cause to bring attention to, protecting our wildlife and habitats is so important.
One of the reasons we love organic and Scandi clothing is that it is ethically made to minimise it's impact on wildlife and habitats, and this ethos is often reflected in some of the amazing prints we see! To celebrate this, here is our round up of some of our favourite flora and fauna inspired designs from the last couple of seasons. For each one of these items we sell from Monday 2nd March to Friday 6th March we will donate £2 to WWF.
This is such a gorgeous print, it's been so popular and we can see why! Available in violet, jade or dark orange, the detail on this print is amazing. Berries, ants and leaves feature in the background while the mushrooms take centre stage!
Villervalla always do some fab animal themed prints - last Autumn we had the hugely popular Savannah print, and now for the Spring collection we have leopards and peacocks. These prints are just stunning, and we know we love the Villervalla quality too!
Possibly our favourite non-Scandi brand here at Mootooti, Piccalilly never fails to disappoint us. Beautifully soft organic cotton, always made to the highest ethical standards, and amazing prints. This is the Pondlife print from their spring collection, featuring frogs, ducks and all things ponds!
Exclusive to Mootooti in the UK, Cissi & Selma is a fabulous Swedish brand. Organic and Oeko-Tex fabrics, retro style designs and ethically made in Europe. What's not to love! The Pige is a stunning floral print, and the style pictured is the Josephine dress. It's a true wrap style so perfect for breastfeeding mamas and is super flattering.
The range of leggings from Merle Kids are all inspired by nature, and we particularly love these ocean leggings, featuring animals from the sea to the sky and even some wind turbines! Hand made in Germany from organic cotton, these are made in 'grow with me' sizes, so your littles will get maximum wear out of them!
6. DUNS Fugo
Another entry from Duns, this time from their Spring collection. These little fishes have grown in popularity since they launched in January, and we absolutely love them. Funky and unique, just like our kids!
These are just a few of the wildlife inspired prints you'll find at Mootooti at the moment, we hope you love them as much as we do! Have a look around and don't forget, for every purchase of any of the above prints this week (until Friday 6th March), we'll donate £2 to WWF.
